What should I do if I can't clear errors?
We can clear all faults. Carly App sends the "delete" command to your control unit 100%.
If the error codes remain after you have deleted them, a faulty or defective element may be the source of the error, and it has to be repaired first for the error code to be cleared.
The errors that are still there are static. You can also delete such errors, but since the cause is still there, the error will appear again after deletion, or our app will detect it and show that the error is still present.
If you can not clear it, it's probably a static fault code that cannot be erased permanently. In such cases, please check if the element is not defective.
Please follow the steps below to check whether the code is static :
- Clear existing error codes, disconnect and close the app
- Ignition/engine to be turned off and on again
- Now restart the app and reconnect
- Run a new diagnostic
- The error codes you get now are statically defined and have to be repaired.
