1. I am getting the error B200500. What can I do?
This fault usually means that there's a bug in the factory firmware, parameter-related data in the control unit is incorrect or parameter data is missing because the module has not been configured via SVM with a direct connection to VW/Audi headquarters.
The problem here is that when the VW vehicles are tried to be coded with some third-party coding device, which does not connect with the VW headquarters database, this error arrives.
2. Is this error going to affect my car?
Don't worry. This error is completely harmless and does not affect any functionality of the vehicle.
Until now, there is no way to remove this error but you can leave it as it is, since it does not harm any system.
To keep in mind 💡: If you want to clear this fault code, then you will need to go to the workshop to reset the particular ECU software.
