What can you do about sudden connection drops – Adapter Test?

We have written test-routines for this case.

 

Before connecting, please go to settings and scroll all the way down in the button area. There are 2 tests, of which only one can run at a time.

  1. Please start with Test 1 and then connect on the Home Screen. Please wait until the connection drops. You will see this on your Android Display.
  2. Then please send us a support message from the support area.
  3. Please continue with Test 2 and then connect on the Home Screen. Please wait until the connection drops. You will see this on your Android Display.
  4. Then please send us a support message from the support area again.

Info for Support area message:

Please write extra information into the mail, so we can attach your request to the conversation we’ve had up to now. Best would be to write something like:
“I was asked to do adapter test 1 / 2. The adapter cannot establish any connection to the car. If the adapter is damaged, please send me a new one.”

 

With this information we can check, why connection suddenly drops.

 

Adapter Test 1: Tests a connection to your adapter.

Adapter Test 2: Tests a connection through your adapter to your car.
